Term	Definition
Weave	The process of forming a base (or track) along the scalp to attach wefted hair. The hair can be attached to the hair through sewing the weft directly to the customer’s head using thread and a needle. Weaving is very popular with African American hair. This is also known as hair weaving, hair weaves, black hair weave or hair wefts.
