Backstage at Shakuhachi we caught up with Paloma Rose Garcia who lead the Cloud 9 hair team in creating a "modern take on Brigitte Bardot's 1960s low ponytail." She used lots of texturising products, including sea salt spray on the hair, then the Cloud 9 wide iron on a low heat to created a "bohemian tousled feel" throughout, before pulling hair back into a low pony and using a light hairspray to finish. Alex Squires led the makeup team, taking her lead from the collection's contrast in textures and giving models a beautiful velvet base, which was paired with glossy lips, brows and cheekbones, and an orange eye.
