Once again we had the pleasure of catching up with L’Oreal Professionnel Hair Director Brad Ngata backstage at Alex Perry's LMFF Red Carpet Runway show on Wednesday night. Bow tie-wearing Brad explained that the hair look he's created for Megan Gale and co. was "expensive and glamorous" - just like the designer himself! The look was a simple ponytail, but one with all the sleekness and chicness of a salon style. Brad and his team created the look by applying L'Oreal Professionnel Tecni.art Volume Lift ($25) to the roots and blow-drying the hair backwards in the direction of the ponytail. This is a really important step according to Brad as blow-drying in the direction that you want to take the style helps to create that smoothness later on. The stylists then tied the hair with hat elastic at occiptial bone (the pointy bit on the back of your head) and added in hair extensions, which Brad then cut bluntly.
