Chanel is always the one we wait for when it comes to Fashion Week and as per usual Karl Lagerfeld delivered the goods. Feathered hats were nestled into models' hair and styled into slick side parts, with fringes draping freely over faces. Attached to the hats were lace and net mask-like fabric obscuring eyes, but not enough to hide dramatic makeup. A subtle foundation base with a hint of blush and pale rose coloured lipstick prevented the look from appearing washed out, with eyes heavily rimmed in black kohl, drawn out to a wing and smudged to perfection. A phenomenal hair and makeup combination to reflect the dark colour palette from the couture itself.
