Admittedly, as seasoned Chanel fans, we never thought we'd mention the brand's name in connection to Lord Voldemort (the baddie in Harry Potter for anyone who resides under a rock). Emma Watson, yes. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, no. But when watching the last instalment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II over the weekend, I couldn't help but be drawn to Voldemort's nails. Take away the dirt that rims the cuticles and I could've sworn I'd seen that matte nude hue somewhere before. Turns out I had - when nail guru Sophy Robson was showcasing Chanel's upcoming Le Vernis Rose Caché ($39) with the brand's Top Coat Velvet ($39) over the top. Interesting. Who knew that the Dark Lord was a Chanel fan*?
