Q) I want long hair again and I want to go lighter again for summer, but because of grey hair and my root growth, I need to color my hair every 2 months.
What do you suggest?
A) To cover grey and go lighter for summer I suggest the following:
1) Blend the grey away at your roots with a demi permanent, non ammonia deposit color, close to your natural shade
2) Go to your salon to weave in foils (highlights)
Focus more on the front, medium amount in the crown and sides, less in the nape
This will give you more natural look with depth and dimension, instead of a boring "box color" blonde.
You can retouch your grey at the roots every month at home - and then every so often, touch up your highlights at your salon.
Afterwards, I'll color match the base and the highlights for your extensions.
I suggest the weft method because it's easier to remove and re-apply every 1 to 2 months.

Q) How do I make my hair look like Victoria's Secret models?
A) They have wefted clip on hair extensions for the shows.
To get their wavy look you can blow dry straight, set in hot rollers, brush out curls gently, and then set with a natural hold hairspray.
Q) Can I just wash and go with hair extensions? I don't want to fuss too much in the morning.
A) Hair extensions aren't really "Wash and go", but you can style and keep your look for 2 to 3 days before washing again.
My natural hair has a wave to it that is slightly different than my hair extensions, so I blow dry everything straight and then style with rollers/curling iron/or straightener. This lasts a few days before washing again.
However, I've been to Mexico and just left it dry naturally and then added a few curls and straightened my bangs. This took about 5 minutes and still looked nice - almost "wash and go".
Q) Are their hair extensions for people with curly hair?
A) Yes. I need to see the curl pattern to know what kind of curl to order for you.
