The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover provided the mood for the makeup look at Gary Bigeni with lead makeup artist Natasha Severino confessing backstage to becoming obsessed with the romantic crime drama after watching it recently. Helen Mirren's character, Georgina, inspired the look but Natasha modernised it, making the red lip feathered at the edges, the skin velvety and the eyes super glossy. She used a taupe shadow and MAC's Clear Lipglass over the top for the eyes. Hair director Darren Borthwick gave the models a "more grown up and softer style" this year, securing the girls strands in a low ponytail that covers the ears, with teasing at the back to give a dishevelled finish, as though she's just laid down.
