The key to White Suede's S/S 11/12 look was subtlety with makeup director Kate Squires wanting the models to look as though they weren't wearing makeup. The feel of the look was healthy, sporty girls so obviously models' skin was to look beautiful. Kate used Napoleon Perdis Boudoir Mist and Mighty Concealer Pen, before applying peach and taupe hues on the inner bridge of the nose towards the eye. This focus on the centre of the face was a nice tie-in with the rolled hairstyle that ran in a centre part though models hair, from the nape of the neck to the hairline. Cheekbones were glossy - to give the feel that models had just stepped out of a yoga class - and Lip Service was key, being applied onto cheekbones, lips and lashes, on top of brown mascara.
