It's the surreal and sometimes sketchy story that's outraged the world - Kerry Campbell, the so-called Botox mum who admitted to injecting her 8-year-old daughter Britney with Botox (not to mention giving her leg and bikini waxes) in a bid to win child beauty pageants. Now Kerry is finally showing some remorse over her actions that caused US authorities to remove Britney from her care, telling The Sun, the UK tabloid that originally broke the story:
"I cannot put into words the remorse I feel . . . I will not use Botox on her ever again. I honestly felt I was helping her. I regret doing it and remain committed to being a good mother and being reunited with my daughter."
The 34-year-old told the paper that she will seek therapy for her "obsession with looks" and "insecurities about appearance" that she tried to force on Britney. But last we heard, thanks to some sleuthing by the San Francisco Chronicle, Kerry Campbell wasn't even the mother's real name.
