At an intimate Nude by Nature launch this afternoon we caught up with Miss Universe Australia 2011 Scherri-Lee Biggs - the mineral makeup brand is the key makeup partner of the awards - to talk taking out the crown, top tips she's picked up from the pros and how she feels about winning the prestigious title that has previously been held by Jennifer Hawkins, Rachael Finch and Jesinta Campbell. The communications student from Perth will head to Brazil to compete in the Miss Universe World contest in September and will celebrate her 21st birthday out there. Here's what Scherri-Lee had to say . . .
On her new role: "I always knew that I would never do something "normal" and have a 9-5 job. And this is certainly different!"
On her exercise routine: "I'm an early riser, even if I've had little sleep, I'm always up by 8am so I exercise in the morning as this is when I have the most energy. If I do exercise at night, I'll do something like Pilates or just go for a walk."
