Yesterday we introduced you to our new bestie Bruce Grayson. He's the man in charge of making sure the celebs look flawless when they take to the stage at the Academy Awards this Sunday (our Monday). He's already spilled the beans on how far out celebs start prepping for the event, what they carry in their clutch for touch-ups and how a red carpet look gets decided upon. Today, he's talking about what we can expect to see on this year's red carpet, what he liked about last year and how it can all go oh so wrong . . .
What kind of looks do you think we'll see this year? I think the theme for this year is simple elegance. It’s always the simple elegant looks that we remember long after the Oscars are over. And great makeup, maybe just a simple shimmer eyeshadow on the lid - I think we’re going to see a lot of sparkling champagnes, polished bronze, rich golds; we’ll even see some soft lilacs or violets this year against simply lined eyes, not too thick, but defined.
